About

I am interested in you and the stories you have to share.

I know first-hand that it’s not always easy to share your stories with someone. Sometimes it can take some help to understand what you’ve experienced and how to move forward in a way that feels safe, comfortable, and understood. It can be scary and hard, but when you do, it can feel like a weight has been lifted.

I have been specializing in grief and childhood bereavement since 2015, providing individual counseling and group support for children, adolescents, and adults. Through that specialization I have become skilled in working with many of the symptoms and challenges related to grief and loss such as: depression, anxiety, stress, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and the impact of recent or past traumas. I have been told that my collaborative and accessible style helps clients feel comfortable, calm, included, and hopeful. My personal and professional experience serve as a guide for my passion in supporting people of all ages impacted by life stressors.

My aspiration is to be a bridge from your hurt to your healing - however that looks for you.

I provide trauma-informed, mindfulness-based support including:

  • Play therapy for children ages 4 and above

  • Individual therapy for adolescents and adults

  • Support for adolescents and their caregivers to strengthen their relationship

  • Support for parents and caregivers

  • Grief-focused, process-oriented groups for adults, young adults, and men

I offer a 20 minute in-person or phone consultation to help consider what services might be the best fit for you or your child. It can be hard to take that first step, and there is no expectation in moving forward after that first call.
